Introduction

Human Capital Development Professionals Nepal (HCDPN), a legally registered non-profit organization, originated from a WhatsApp group. HCDPN serves as a platform for learning, sharing, and networking, providing a common network for sharing best practices in organizational innovation, creating peer learning networks for individuals and organizations, supporting managerial agendas, and exploring ideas for organizational and human capital development.

HCDPN offers a common platform for all national and international stakeholders involved in human capital development in Nepal, adopting a Public-Private Partnership (3P) approach. Its primary aim is to bridge the gap between industry and academia through sustainable and practical measures. Anyone planning a career in human capital development can join HCDPN.

HCDPN boasts over 1,000 professionals who participate in its various events and activities. These participants include human resource, academic, and IT professionals from sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality, education, insurance, trading, banking, and IT services, along with key figures directly involved in human capital development in Nepal.

  3. Free from politics and is a 100% Non-political platform to develop professional outcomes.
  4. Healthy discussion, fact sharing, and professional development. 

Functional Objectives


  1. A registered and non-profit distributing organization to work in the field of human capital development through a Public, Private, and Partnership (P3) approach incorporating national and international stakeholders.
  2. Facilitating a crucial role in planning the curriculum of technical and non-technical educational courses by identifying the practical gap between industry and academia from primary to university level.
  3. Facilitating various professional engagement activities like workshops, seminars and awards, research, articles, case studies, publications, and certified and non-certified training courses at minimum cost.

Professional Code of Conduct for HCDPN members:


  1. Declaration to follow this Code of Conduct (COC) is a basic need to be a member of HCDPN.
  2. Posting messages in a single chunk to social platforms to make them meaningful.
  3. All new members are responsible for a personal introduction in brief (name, working profession, duration of experience, current organization, etc.) to join formally.
  4. Online registration for membership is compulsory to maintain personal information.
  5. All opinions will be treated as equally respectable unless they violate the group COC.
  6. No bias towards similar organizations, groups, or individual members.
  7. Prohibition of posting any unnecessary posts / unrelated information that can create a "Conflict of Interest" with similar groups/organizations if they exist, or even within the group.
  8. We will ask all members to coordinate with the admin for any doubtful sharing before posting in the group.
  9. Posting of disturbing high graphics or photos, cuss words, videos, or any other unwelcoming material is strictly restricted to the team.
  10. Dedication, passion, enthusiasm, self-respect, Self-discipline, high morale, and integrity are a few basic requirements to keep membership in the team.
  11. People who are interested in Human Resource/Human Capital Development is welcome for the association.
  12. The platform is only for working professionals in related fields, not for owners of related vendors, agencies, and organizations.
  13. All members are strictly instructed to not advertise their personal/organizational business activities or any type of political content that is not linked to HCD.
  14. If any member is not interested in being part of this professional team and does not follow HCDPN’s COC, then the member can choose to leave the team
  15. If a member provokes another member against the mutual respect policy, the member will first be warned and eventually terminated by the team.
  16. The structure and content amendments will be done as per our requirements, and valid suggestions from every member will be welcomed.  

HCDPN-Membership Types

1. Life Member

Eligibility: Age above 25 years/HCD Professional

Requirements: Working professionals

Membership Fee: NPR 10,000.00 (Lifetime)

Renewal: Not required

 

2. Professional Member

Eligibility: Age above 20 years/ HCD Professional

Requirements: Working Professional

Membership Fee: NPR 1200.00

Renewal: Every 2 years

3. Organizational Member

Eligibility: Engaged minimum 1 year in professional and organizational activities

Requirements: Public or private institutions/organizations

Annual Fee: NPR 12000.00

Renewal: Every 2 years

4. Student Member

Eligibility: Above 18 years

Requirements: Bachelor or above students

Membership Fee: NPR 600.00

Renewal: Every 2 years

5. Honorable Member

Eligibility: Above 40 years

Membership Fee: Free

Decision: HCDPN Board will decide and explorer


The "Honorable Member" category is a special and prestigious membership type within the HCDPN, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions or have a distinguished standing in the field of Human Capital Development.
